Tracy draws her inspiration from exploring nature’s darker side - death, disease, erosion and the fragile beauty that can be seen within these states.

Her current work uses scientific images of eroding bone fragments, which are not generally associated with beauty. Yet, when photographed under the microscope they can possess a lace-like delicacy.

Intricate panels are created from hand cut opaque glass, exploiting its inherent qualities of strength, fragility, sensuality and allure. Layered together, the complex structures possess a penetrability and depth which draw the viewer deeper inside to investigate further.
