Steven’s work deals with ideas of visual perception, consciousness and thought. He uses glass to interact with light, often using variances in opacity together with lens forms to manipulate and control how the viewer sees into the objects. The forms used are abstract, but have a strong architectural aesthetic and his aim is that they give the viewer a focus for contemplative reflection.
